RADIATOR CAP 2000 7lbs (Not Screw type)

Rover Part No. GRC102 [SUPERCEEDS PART NUMBER 548377]

THE VERY EARLY P6 2000 WAS LISTED IN THE WORKSHOP MANUAL TO HAVE A 5LB PRESSURE CAP AND THE EARLY PARTS MANUALS LIST THE CAP AS 4LB [PART NUMBER 527034 later GRC108]. HOWEVER IN OCTOER 1965 SERVICE BULLENTIN VOL2 NO3 ITEM 19, THE 7LB CAP WAS INTRODUCED TO REPLACE THE 5LB CAP AND WOULD BE SUPPLIED FROM THEN ON FOR ALL VERTICLE FLOW RADIATOR ON P6. EARLY TC, HAD A SCREW IN CAP ON THE VERTICLE FLOW RADITOR AND AN EXPENSION TANK WHICH HAD THE 7LB CAP ON.

ONCE THE HORIZONAL FLOW RADIATOR WAS INTRODUCED THE RADIATOR CAP WAS REPLACED BY THE 10LB PRESSURE CAP ON THAT WAS USED ON ALL 2000 AND 2200 WITH HORIZONTAL FLOW RADIATIONS , SEE PART NUMBER GRC109

ALL 3500 HAD 15LB CAPS ON SEE GRC 110
